John D. Stevenson Award call for nominations
Do you know an individual who has made a significant volunteer contribution to the life of the College? If so, we need to know by Tuesday, Nov. 4.
The John D. Stevenson Award for outstanding volunteer service to UCC is presented each year at Founder’s Dinner to an Old Boy or parent whose commitment to UCC over several years has been exceptional. Recent recipients of the award include Andy Pringle ’69, Hugh Innes ’72, Holy Miklas, Martha Shaw, Roly Watt ’62, Vivien Cappe and Ted Mills ’81.
Nominations are welcome from all members of the College community in written format. They should include details about the nature and time of the nominee’s volunteer service and the reason for the nomination. The nomination form can filled out online here or you can email your nominations to Jody Jacobson.
All nominations will be reviewed by the Association Council and a recipient will be selected. Nominations must be submitted by Nov. 4.
The John D. Stevenson Award will be presented at the annual Founder’s Dinner on Wednesday, Feb. 11.
