Message from Tom Babits, Head, Primary Division
I encourage you to reflect with your boy on his highlights, and perhaps a few of your own. Soon enough it will be time to look forward to all the excitement that the spring term will bring.
Just a note that today is International Women’s Day. Here’s a link for more background information. This is from the site:
“The objective of Women’s Day is to express love and gratitude towards women’s’ contribution to our lives and society. It honours the power and struggles of women who have broken all barriers and reached the pinnacle of success in every sphere of life. Today, women across the globe actively participate in politics, education, social work, corporate, sports, IT, research & development, innovation and diverse fields, and have left their footprints.”
As a boys school, I feel we have a special obligation to raise a perspective — and perhaps some issues — that International Women’s Day inspires. Your boy’s teachers did so today.
I sincerely hope you’re able to enjoy your precious family time. I wish everyone a safe and happy two weeks.
