Message from Tanya Sweeney

Dear Prep families,

It’s been another busy and productive week at the Prep, with our Winter Co-Curricular season now underway for students in Years 4 to 7. I continue to be impressed with the creativity of my colleagues in their offer of an engaging program despite our circumstances.

Each Wednesday morning our Middle Years students and teachers have assembly. This year, these assemblies are digital and run out of the main office. At-home learners are invited to join the live stream as well. Please find this week’s Middle Assembly recording here, as it gives you some insights into what is happening day-to-day. 

We are working together to create a brief monthly video to capture for you some of the learning activities and so that you can see what our school looks like on the inside–and here is our first. Enormous thanks to Amy Chauhan, who beyond her Library skills has passion and skills in media and video editing. Thanks also to our featured teachers: Mark Ferley, Christie Gordon, Monika Kastelic and Paul McGarr.

Lastly, Brent Evans, one of our Norval colleagues, presented recently to the PPO on our Primary Norval programming. Primary families and students will definitely want to check out this summary video.
