Captains and Poets: Discovering the Leader Within (four workshops)

Over the last year, youth have experienced many losses, gifts and challenges that have the potential to impact their lives and leadership potential  in positive and powerful ways.

A limited number of Year 6 and Year 7 students are invited to join this four-week workshop series to learn about their inner Captain and Poet and how their partnership has the potential to help them be the best leaders they can be. They will discover their unique leader within and see more clearly that the secret to navigating the world around them is by being their best self.

General workshop objectives:

  • To introduce the Captains and Poets framework.
  • To provide a forum for sharing around the challenges of the past year and its impact on students’ social, academic, co-curricular lives and identity.
  • To discover and deepen their understanding of their innate leadership abilities.

Dates: May 12, May 19, May 26 and June 2

Time: 1:25 p.m.–2:10 p.m. for May 12 and May 19 (time for final two workshops to be confirmed)

Open to a maximum of 20 students from Year 6 and Year 7 who must pre-register on a first-come, first-served basis through this Google Form.

Zoom link will be shared with student participants who have successfully registered.

Kind regards,
