Message from Andrew Turner, Director, Residential Life

Andrew Turner photoThere’s been plenty of activity over the course of the spring term. As we enter May, seniors are fully engaged in exams. Economics, biology, English and mathematics exams have already been written. All students are respecting the needs of senior students; this week one walks into a very quiet workplace during the evening hours in Seaton’s and Wedd’s.

Outside the houses, boys have been playing sports of all kinds, and for the first time we offered boys an opportunity to try canoe tripping. Several boys joined Mr. Kelly from the Norval Outdoor School, Mr. Evans and Mr. Crawford on a two-day journey down the Credit River. End-of-year award presentations are also happening in both houses. Many boys make strong contributions to life in the boarding houses; this week we’re recognizing two of the special year-end events in Seaton’s.
